Spiroll designs and builds bespoke stressing solutions for new and existing precast factories producing any type of prestressed concrete product. These solutions include multi-stressing and hydraulic detensioning systems.

Less labour intensive than a single jack stressing and de-tensioning operation, these systems prevent any shock to the precast products during detensioning. The capacity of Spiroll multi-stressing systems can range from 150 tonnes up to a maximum of 600 tonnes. At the top end of the range, three staged multi-stressing systems can be provided which combine a fixed pumping station, together with a portable power pack that can be handled by crane or forklift.

Simpler multi-stressing systems can also be designed and built. These rigs combine with a fixed abutment post at one end of the production bed and at the live (stressing) end, an abutment designed to incorporate a portable power pack containing the hydraulic cylinders. Spiroll multi-stressing systems differ of those of competitors as they come complete with a handling frame, enabling the hydraulic cylinders to be picked up and moved from bed to bed using a forklift truck or overhead crane. This provides a significant saving compared to fixed systems that utilise a pair of cylinders for each bed.
