250 mm Spiroll Slabs for Croom Concrete

When one of Ireland’s leading precast concrete manufacturers, Croom Concrete, experienced increased demand for 250-mm-deep hollowcore slabs, they approached Spiroll to equip their existing Vortex extruder with a 250-mm cassette.

From its enhanced production facilities in Leeds, Spiroll was able to respond promptly and produce the cassette within the short time frame specified by the client.

The new 250-mm cassette was commissioned successfully, allowing Croom Concrete to expand its product offering, which now includes 150, 200 and 250 mm deep Spiroll Hollowcore Slabs.

The ability of the operator to change slab depths quickly and easily, and therefore achieve greater flexibility, is a key feature of the Spiroll Vortex extruder. The operation is a simple ten-minute process – a boom for the efficient hollowcore manufacturer.
