SpirollCAD is a hollowcore design and production planning software package that gives total control to the whole manufacturing process from the first engineer’s drawings right through to the fixing of the finished hollowcore on the construction site.

Hollowcore production requires accurate and consistent control of the design; production planning; slab manufacture; traceability; stock and site deliveries. SpirollCAD has been designed and developed to provide this support. It effectively ensures that the right product is made at the right time to meet individual project requirements.

The software is fully integrated with AutoCAD and BricsCAD. It provides the opportunity to layout the finished floor designed to European and American codes. Floor areas can be swapped until a suitable layout has been achieved. Screed and toppings can be added onto the designs. Split slabs can inserted to fix exactly the shape. Slabs can be designed exactly to building specifications which allows designers to optimise raw materials. There is a one click design check for bending moments.

Once the hollowcore designs have been finished and structurally checked SpirolCAD then controls the whole production process. It provides support for the production planning; providing factory workers with individual slab job sheets; prints bar codes for easy slab identification and plans stock control and trailer loading sequences.
